Craig Phillips is most famous for being the first ever Big Brother winner in the summer of 2000 where he immediately gave away his £70,000 winnings to charity. Since that time Craig has worked exclusively in television and in the past 5 years he has appeared on hundreds of different television programmes for all the major broadcasters. An instantly recognisable face, he has presented and appeared in a wealth of live and recorded shows and during his broadcast career has gained a great and extensive knowledge in the process of television production.
Craig still maintains an active part in representing and helping many different charities. He has a particular association with the Down's Syndrome charity and the Michelle Lewis fundraising charity and continues to use his profile to raise money for their worthy causes.
Prior to the year 2000 Craig managed an extremely successful building company in the county of Shropshire which employed twelve personnel and operated over a period of more than 10 years. The company was eventually "wound down" in late 2000 due to Craig's mounting television and charity commitments. |
